About / context, not chronology

The work changes. The way of working compounds.

I’m Javi: a technical founder, product builder, curious generalist, and father. This site is a record of work, questions, and ideas that have earned their way out of the notebook.

What belongs here

I have spent years founding companies, writing software, designing products, and operating inside the unglamorous details that make them real. Fintech is part of that record. It taught me a great deal about trust, state, failure, and the cost of ambiguity—but it is evidence, not an identity.

My interests travel: software architecture, AI, automation, mobile work, parenting, philosophy, financial systems, and whatever difficult problem earns sustained curiosity next.

The coherent thread

I am interested in elegant mechanisms that create disproportionate outcomes. I want to know why a system works, where it breaks, what tradeoffs it hides, and whether a simpler design can carry more of the load.

This website is where I document what survives the experiment.
