Speed needs a direction

Moving faster amplifies the quality of the feedback loop—and the cost of aiming at the wrong thing.

Velocity is an amplifier

Speed is valuable when it shortens the distance between a decision and evidence. Without that loop, it mostly produces inventory: more code, more decisions, more assumptions to unwind.

The practical question is not whether a team can move quickly. It is whether each increment makes the next decision better.
